This is advice I was given by a lot of former-travelers, and it came
in handy today when rain and exhaustion kept me from climbing up in
the Swiss Alps.

It's hard to be so close to something so cool and not make the trip,
but I just had to reassure myself that I will be back, and let it go.
You can't fit everything in.

In spite of this disappointment I had a really nice day - laid in bed
till noon, ate fondue, went grocery shopping, and cooked up some
homemade pasta with vegetables and wine. Tomorrow I leave for Lyon.

Even though I feel like I didn't necessarily "make the most" of
Lucerne, I am hoping this break will leave me refreshed to be excited
again for the next leg of my trip.
