This is it

Today was such a great day in Paris.

First of all, the weather finally warmed up (I neglected to mention that the first
two days we were here were FREEZING and Dan and I were both wearing every
piece of clothing we brought.)

That was a big plus, and it meant we finally got to have one of those "run
around town" carefree days in Paris that I had been wanting.

We saw so many things, and ate a ton of food, and drank a ton of wine,
and walked down so many beautiful boulevards, and looked in pretty
stores, it was exactly what I had hoped Paris would be.

And tonight, we climbed up the Arc de Triumph and saw the view. 11
avenues all meet in a roundabout at the food of the monument, and you
can see so far from the top. Paris really is a giant city. When people
talk about the romance, and the food, and the amazing metro - which is
one of the most efficient I've been on - they neglect to mention how
HUGE Paris is.

Above all else, I can't believe this trip is over, that all there is
left is the ride home.
