I sometimes wonder how people in Spain ever make any money, becausestores, bars, and govt. offices are ALWAYS closed. I know there is the "siesta" period where things typically close, but
it seems like things are ALWAYS closed at the most random times of day - in addition to the siesta.
Walk by a street at 11 and half the shops are open.
Walk by at 1pm and 1/3 are open.
Walk by at 4pm and a different 1/2 are open.
Walk by again at 8pm and the street is deserted.
Food is the same way. If you are looking to eat between 7-9am or4-6pm, you will most likely go hungry. How do people make money in Spain?
