California is Prettier Than London

Yes, I realize that's an inflammatory and opinionated comment to make,
but I think it's true. All I've been hearing for the last couple of
days is how beautiful and droll Kensington Gardens is, how its this
expansive park, and how Londoners frolick there all summer long, etc
etc. I go today and although it was neat to see the locals playing
games of cricket with their families, and although the Queen's Gate
was quite beautiful, it's basically a giant area of yellow grass,
broken up by a couple of majestic buildings and Princess Diana's
fountain (which I also never found.)

So, London wins when it comes to history, but for photogs who prefer
dramatic landscapes and elevation changes, California takes the cake.

Not to mention, I spent 2 hours wandering all over the gardens looking
for the Orangery for High Tea, and I never made it. So "taking a
proper British Tea" remains on my bucket list.
