Another thing that has been funny to watch in Logrono is how the
people take care of their garbage - i.e. throw it on the ground.

The town would be really gross and dirty, but the government has come
up with a pretty elegant solution for this problem. They pay people to
drive around in little garbage trucks that vaccum up the garbage and
hose everything down. These trucks are HIGHLY maneuverable and can go
through trees and into little alleys, and are constantly driving
around the city.

If you hang around for 15 minutes or so after any city event, you'll
see the trucks showing up. Within 30 minutes, the area looks brand
new, and the trucks are off to another part of the city to clean up
whatever trash has since been tossed.
