I booked my room at the Flying Pig Downtown in March. At that point,
rooms for August were beginning to fill up. I felt pretty lucky to be
able to stay somewhere so "famous" but I wasn't really sure what to
expect when I got here.
completely blown away when I got to the Flying Pig at 10pm last night.
Off a seedy alley way I saw the door on the left, and rang the buzzer.
This is what I saw when I entered. My room is on the second floor, and I am sharing with TWELVE people. I
understand that's not that out-of-the-ordinary in hostel-land, but to
me, 12 roomates is a new experience all together. As we speak, there
is someone getting-it-on in the bunk next to me. Luckily, as with my
first hostel, I snagged the bed by the window. I think it pays to book
these things early.
