So tomorrow I begin my journey. Deep breath . . .

To celebrate my departure and remind me of what I am leaving behind, Dan and I took a morning sailboat cruise around San Francisco Bay.

In spite of all the beautiful things I anticipate to see, there is something about California that is just so perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing what else is out there in this crazy world, and hope that everything is as I left it when I return. Except for me. I hope that I am better.
