Today, I spent the afternoon eating cheese and taking pictures of a little Bavarian farm.

There were cows, goats, rabbits, teeny ponies, and a play yard. And a fully operational electric fence. I know this because I happened to lean on the fence while photographing the teeny ponies.

Being jolted unexpectedly is quite shocking (ha.) It really is like getting kicked. After flying back a few feet and falling on my ass, it took a few seconds of staring stupidly at the ground for me to even realize what had even happened!

And of course, about twenty minutes later, I found this small little sign (pictured below.) I think it's a warning to watch out for the fence.
