We walked around for hours last night and saw everything from long boulevards, to huge white beaches, to fancy hotels, to small windy streets, to underground bars, to roller-bladers and bikers, to fancy restaurant diners, to children running around out in the squares. And this was all after 11pm at night!
After getting a couple Sangrias (served on tap here) and passing a bunch of bicyclists at the harbor, Dan turned to me and asked "What time do you think it is?"
"10?"
"Nope."
"10:30?"
"Nope."
"11?"
"Nope."
It was almost midnight! It was still 75-80 degrees, and the streets were full like it was 7:30-8pm.
After walking around in this beautiful harbor, and walking about half a mile down a strip of white beaches, we got to this square where it was instantly Vegas. Tons of clubs, casinos, hookah bars, people dressed to impress, and - of course - club-pushers standing out front with their fliers. Things were JUST getting going by that time, and it was free entry to a lot of the places until 1:45am. And this was on a Tuesday. Can't wait to see what Wed-Fri is like!
