Rome definitely grew on me (like every city I've visited.) I don't
think it's one of my favorite places I've been, but definitely one of
the more impressive. Amazing, marbled/ruined structures everywhere you turn, loud crazy
traffic, good food and wine, there is a lot of life to it, but it can
be an exhausting place. There is something really amazing about
walking passed a giant 2000 year old building after dinner and drinks,
and so far, nowhere I've been has had shopping like I've seen in Rome,
but you can't come expecting that a good time will find you. It takes
a lot of work to "do Rome" and you really have to be ready for it.
