I looove my new hostel!

As you can tell from the pictures, it's in a very interesting looking part of town, but I've been assured that's just what normal working-class neighborhoods look like here.
I share a room with 5 girls as well as a giant spotless bathroom, and
have enough head room above my bed to be able to sit on it to type.
Amazing.

Also, I have a clean kitchen, free tasty tap water, and cooking
essentials at my disposal. There's laundry machines for cheap, awesome
hosts/tour guides at the front desk, and a cute little grocery store
down the street. I actually feel safe leaving my stuff out here, and
feel pretty confident that I wont be finding puke in the shower or used
condoms in the trash.

It's amazing how much you appreciate the little things after going
without for a few days.
